This is an authentic antique Japanese menuki, the small ornament fitted under the wrap on a sword handle. The supplier notes that it comes from a well-known collection. The listing provides little else, so the photos are the main source for judging the metalwork and design. It is listed as used, with SKU MGJ897.

This menuki suits a collector of Japanese sword fittings who wants an antique piece with a documented collection history. Buyers building a set of fittings for a mount or a reference collection will find it useful, and the used listing means the surface wear should be checked in the photos before buying. The listing gives no further dimensions, so ask about any detail not shown in the photos.
